Calendar monthly in advance

If you are able to determine your schedule for the coming month you can decide which slots you wish to occupy and pay for them in advance at the first lesson of the month. This method gives you the greatest choice and guarantees you your place. It does not necessarily mean you have to book a slot for every week of the month, only that you are committed to slots you have selected. For example, if you are aware at the start of the month that you will be unable to attend a lesson for whatever reason then you would simply not book that slot. Rescheduling: Having pre-booked your lessons and committed to specific times, cancellation will mean losing that particular lesson regardless of the reason (traffic, work commitments, illness etc). I appreciate, however, that people have busy and perhaps changeable schedules and as such will always endeavor to reschedule a lesson provided that it is to another time in the same teaching week, that there is space available, and you give me enough notice – preferably 48 hours.

Weekly / as and when

If you would rather pay for your lessons on a weekly or as and when basis, this is fine. This method means only ever committing to one lesson at a time. All lessons can be scheduled at the end of each previous lesson. The drawback to this method is that you may not always be able to book the slots you require as my schedule fills up very quickly at the start of each month. Cancellation: If you need to cancel your lesson for whatever reason, then you must give me at least 48 hours notice. If you do not give 48 hours notice, regardless of the reason (traffic, work commitments, illness etc), you will be charged the full amount for the missed lesson, payable at the time the lesson was due to take place.

The cancellation and rescheduling policies for both payment methods have to be enforced in this way due to the fact that I teach large numbers of students. This means that the rare occasions you may need to cancel with no notice, can amount to very frequent occurrences from my perspective.
